They are rumoured to have spent a staggering $1.3 million to renovate a private wing for their new baby daughter Blue Ivy Carter's arrival.

But after just three days at one of New York's swankiest hospital Lenox Hill, Beyonce, her husband Jay-Z and their newborn bundle of joy have left the building.

The couple reportedly checked out of the hospital at 1.30am, and left in a large SUV complete with tinted windows.

The trio were said to have been followed by a cavalcade of cars through the darkness.

No doubt the couple were taking Blue Ivy to their luxurious Manhattan penthouse apartment so she could settle into her new home.

BBC Swahili's flagship football programme, Ulimwengu wa Soka, will kick off the New Year with live commentary from the Sunderland vs Manchester City game on New Year's Day.

This is the first time that the BBC Swahili weekend football programme will broadcast from Sunderland's Stadium of Light.

The team of producers and presenters on Ulimwengu wa Soka bring football news and live Barclays Premier League commentary to Swahili-speaking fans every weekend.

The two commentators who will be at the Stadium of Light, Charles Hilary and Salim Kikeke, are household names in East Africa and have commentated from both the Africa Cup of Nations and the FIFA World Cup.

BBC Swahili reporters across the region - in Zanzibar, Nairobi, Kampala and Dar es Salaam - join listeners who enjoy watching the matches in their localities while following the BBC Swahili commentary on radio.

This combination of the visual provided by TV coverage with the BBC Swahili commentaries has become the norm since 2004 when the BBC first started offering live Premier League commentary in Swahili.

Fans also use SMS and the BBC Swahili Facebook to share their thoughts and emotions as they follow their favourite English Premier League teams.

David Stead, Sports Editor for BBC Global News Languages, says: "Asamoah Gyan's victory in the BBC African Footballer of the Year award last year really put Sunderland on the map for audiences in Africa, and with Manchester City riding so high this season, listeners to BBC Swahili will really enjoy listening to this commentary in their own language".

I saw this video getting all the attention (so far) and had to see for myself what the fuss was all about..you watch it first...or if you already have then you can scroll down to my lil "review"

HMMMMMMMMMMM...........

What I liked: Location, something tiny bit different from what other bongo flava artists do, decent crowd but could use more people, black and white theme, the chef...or was he a butler? He was a good character. CPwaa himself looked like he enjoyed himself while doing the video and last but not least, I loooove the song, hope it will be a club banger!!!

What I didn't like: Well, there's not much I can say I didn't like but there are some scenes that made me cringe a little...enjoy it anyways.

The original divorce was droppped after both failed to appear in court but later on Tina filed another petition. Both have played a great part in Beyonce's career; Tina styling and designing clothes since Destiny's Child and Matthew has been Beyonce's manager until earlier this year when they decided to part ways but insisted they are still close in terms of "father-daughter" relationship.

Do we love or hate the video?

What I liked: The revolution of the vehicles, from the bicycle to the outer space plane thing (or whatever it was). Jennifer Lopez (love her).

What I didn't like: The song, I have no idea what they are talking about. The hardest ever what?. "You can go hard or you can go home" - probably the tackiest lyric I have heard this year (next to Rebecca Black's Friday). Mick Jagger, I respect his legendary self but this...I don't think he should have been involved.

Little Mix win X Factor 2011 - and make history!

Finally a group...scratch that, a girl group has won the X Factor UK! After months of searching and 100,000s of people, originally came to the competition solo, they ended up being in a group.

Little Mix and their mentor Tulisa reacting after learning they have won the competition.

To me the girls didn't stand out from the beginning but they eventually started to grow in me. This is my favourite performance from them:-

I wish them best of luck in their future careers in the music industry because so far the winners haven't been doing so good (but actually the losers e.g. JLS, Olly Murs, One Direction etc, fingers crossed for my girl Misha B!)

Ok I am serious this time because I said before that I am "back" but then went back to my lazy ways but this time, its for real and I won't take a break unless I go on holiday or something. I failed to make my blog a priority but now it definitely is.

My laptop was at it again

The African Carribean Festival of Life took place in Chicago where various artists took the stage to celebrate the fusion of the two cultures. Among those who performed, Gwaii was one of them accompanied by his fellow Tanzanian brethren Wakazi. Since I have come to live in London, I have never seen anything like this. It is sad, shocking and scary. It all apparently started with the Tottenham protesters about Mark Duggan, a local who was shot by police on Thursday therefore family and other people want "answer" why that happened. Tottenham riots took place Saturday finishing on Sunday. Just when London was in peace, things heated up especially in many parts of South and East London.

Police officers attacked, cars and buildings set on fire, businesses and residential buildings badly affected.

I am pretty sure this has nothing to do with Mark, just criminals who saw how people in Tottenham got away with it, and they are giving it a shot.

Japan beat USA to win women's World Cup

They didn't seem like a threat since the group stage (yes I was watching) but then the underdog came to win the women's world cup after beating USA in penalty kicks scoring 3-1 after going draw 2-2 after extra time.

Many predicted USA was going to win with their physical strength and also their size compared to Japan but they pushed through especially after USA missing the all first 3 penalty kicks, giving Japan more confidence in winning the title.

After all the hardship with Japan, I am sure this is giving them something to celebrate about. Well done Japan! Women world champions!

2006 X Factor winner Leona Lewis has released a new song and surely she is "back". Her song, Collide (to play click play above...) seems to be more upbeat than her normal songs she has had hits with like "Bleeding Love", "Run", "Happy" and many more.

The song is described to be identical to the song "Fade Into The Darkness" by a Swedish DJ Avicii. Now Ministry of Sound has threatened to sue Syco for "plagiarizing" the song while Syco claims that the artist's work has been credited.

Just when you thought she would actually stay with this one for long but who am I to judge. Only they know why they are separating but hopefully the peace is going to be reserved for their beautiful twins.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have announced that they are to divorce and calling the decision "painful" and "difficult".

Facebook has announced a partnership with Skype to add video chat.

Personally I feel like this is going to be a very interesting feature and see how the users make of it. Yes, Facebook it is for communicating and so on but is it me or this sounds a little scary? That people can connect with other and see each other face to face (even though its through video) but is it really safe? What do you think? Interesting move and let's see what more Mark has under his sleeves.

Here's how it works:-

We have seen a lot of her since her first single though she did go silent for quite some time. This is what she was doing, she explains it all in this documentary she has done. She's (or seems to be?) such a sweetheart and down to earth person, hardworking and always focused. Enjoy a little bit of Beyonce while I try to get her album...its a must buy

I also love how people on Youtube tried to make her look bad by "stealing" those moves from the guys but she actually did the video with them and they taught her the moves...sometimes you just have to hear the other side of the story.

Isn't Beyonce the best birthday gifter? (is that even a word?) After flashing a $2 million Bugatti on her hubby Jay Z for his birthday, for Solange on her 25th birthday, she got 25 pairs of SHOES!!! The shoes included luxury footwear from of course Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo.

I know I am being a little materialistic here but in the name of fashion, that's one of the best things you can ever do to a girl...so lads...prepare those wallets unless Beyonce is your cousin!

Just saw Eminem's new video, Space Bound and the whole story of it starting with the song (almost like Love The Way You Lie) very typical Eminem with this album. I thought it was going to end pretty peaceful until in the story the girl played by Sasha Grey looks like she was cheating then he got mad then what did he do?....just watch and see though remember that warning!!!

Ok I admit I didn't expect that shooting himself through the head thing...I am pretty sure there's going to be another version of the video for TV...this is a little too much...I like it though :\

Lady Gaga sued over charity wristbands

Stefani Germanotta also known as Lady Gaga is being sued after allegedly making profit from her wristbands she was selling for Japan earthquake and tsunami victims. It has been claimed that people were overcharged with shipping costs and putting tax on them while it should a charity donation.

She is also accused of keeping some of the money despite saying that all the money will go to Japan. Lady Gaga or any of her representatives have not said anything about the issue.

In my opinion, if this is true then wow (not in a good way)...but also it is best to hear a story from both sides. Gaga drama! Will update and see where this goes.

After the recent big designers, Jimmy Choo and Lanvin, the next huge designer to coolaborate with the popular European high street store H&M is Versace!

The collection for H&M are designed by Versace's Creative Director, Donatella Versace which will look back at iconic pieces of the brand at H&M prices.

The collection will be available from 17th November around H&M stores as well as online. In addition Donatella has also designed a pre-spring collection for H&M which will be exclusively available in countries with H&M online sales from January 12, 2012.

My father and I

According to the calendar (nowadays) it is the day we say thanks to our dads after doing so for our mums in March and May for some...though when is it that the parents will say thanks to us kids? Just kidding! lol

I simply want to say thanks to first my own dad but feels like "thanks" is not enough how you have been there for your kids since day one we came into this world, raise us and now you are a grandfather! (not from me, clearing up just in case). Thank you for still being on our side, you are the best man I will always love.

Also kudos to all fathers out there who are proud to have their children, taking care of them and feeling the love! Your existence in their lives is absolutely priceless. Also to the ones that their fathers have passed away, I am sure they are looking down on you and proud of who you are. God bless all fathers!

My review: Can I just say I think this is the best music video since the year started?...well if there's any that I loved before, I have totally forgotten about them after watching this amazing piece from Chris Brown featuring Justin Bieber. The production, the whole set and the story went amazing with the song. I am not a Belieber nor have I been a big fan of C Breezy but I have to hand this to them. But my cons will be Justin Bieber not dancing...I mean...why not? And I thought he danced a lot...Also in the story why does Justin get the girl and Chris doesn't? That wasn't fair lol! Ok I don't wanna give much away but what do we think?

Feeding the United Kingdom with another "talent" competition and in this case, singing competition like X Factor. Except for this show that has been a big hit in the US and Holland, the judges only judge the voice first before seeing them.

BBC has signed a £22 million deal to air the show on BBC One after a battle between the cooperation and ITV. Apparently ITV bosses declined the offer to "keep Simon Cowell happy" but now that it is a hit, I am sure they are regretting it.

A TV entertainment junkie like me, will definitely be watching this and see how the UK version is going to work out. Is Cheryl Cole going to get the job afterall? Let's wait and see!

Ok I know I am a lil late with this video (considering the premiere of it) but decided to post it anyway and just share what I think of it...you know..entertainment, its a part of this world.

So anyway Miss Kathy Beth Terry was having a great Friday with Miss Rebecca Black and this is what happened. Haha amazing! I love the creativity of it though sometimes it felt like Katy was pushing it too hard with the character. I love the video even if its 8 minutes long (Gaga and BEP style) but music videos are like mini movies nowadays, doesn't surprise me.
